About the role

We're looking for an Estimator to join our Canterbury Operations team supporting electrical infrastructure projects across the network.

Working closely with operational teams, you'll help deliver accurate pricing, planning, and practical project solutions across a range of infrastructure work. The role includes both office based estimating and site visits to assess project requirements.

We're open to experienced Estimators, as well as people looking to step into estimating from electrical operations, engineering, field based, or related industry backgrounds. If you've got good industry knowledge, commercial awareness, and the right attitude to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be involved in:

• Preparing tenders, quotations, and project estimates
• Visiting sites to assess project scope and delivery requirements
• Working with operational teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Supporting planning, scheduling, and resource coordination
• Delivering commercially sound and practical project outcomes

About you

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Experience in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or field based electrical work
• Or are looking to step into estimating from a relevant operational or technical background
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Good understanding of electrical infrastructure or construction environments
