About the Role

Lines & Curves Global is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and commercially viable quotations for interior design, fit-out, renovation, joinery and related projects.

The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years UAE experience and be capable of understanding drawings, BOQs, specifications and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Review architectural, interior and shop drawings, BOQs and project specifications.

· Study client requirements and identify the complete scope of work.

· Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil, gypsum, flooring, ceiling, painting, joinery, furniture and other relevant works.

· Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.

· Prepare accurate material, labour, subcontractor and other project cost calculations.

· Prepare detailed project quotations with appropriate margins and commercial terms.

· Identify exclusions, assumptions, variations and potential cost risks before quotation submission.

· Conduct site visits when required to understand existing conditions and project requirements.

· Coordinate with the Business Development, Design, Procurement and Project teams for clarification of project requirements.

· Ensure quotations are prepared and submitted within the required deadline.

· Maintain an organized database of supplier prices, material rates and subcontractor costs.

· Review and update pricing based on current UAE market rates.

· Assist in value engineering and cost-saving alternatives without compromising project requirements.

· Support management during commercial negotiations and quotation revisions.

· Prepare revised quotations based on client requirements and scope changes.

· Maintain proper records of all estimates, quotations and supporting documents.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an Estimator in interior fit-out, joinery, renovation, furniture or construction.

· Strong knowledge of UAE material and labour pricing.

· Ability to read and understand architectural/interior drawings.

· Strong quantity take-off and BOQ preparation skills.

· Good knowledge of joinery, carpentry, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, painting and general fit-out works.

· Strong Excel skills.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.

· Good understanding of project costing and profit margins.

· Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

· Ability to work under tight deadlines.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

Ideal Candidate

An estimator who understands how interior projects are actually built and priced, not someone who simply prepares quotations from a template. The candidate should be capable of reviewing drawings, calculating quantities, obtaining market prices and producing a quotation that protects the company's cost, margin and commercial position.
