Estimator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. You will do so by analyzing project proposals and historical cost data. Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Attend bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy

Prepare thorough and timely cost analysis

Analyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimate

Gather, update, and review historical cost data

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field of study

Experience estimating projects or relevant engineering experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

2-5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with Estimating software

Experience with Procore is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings and plans

Thorough understanding of quality building practices

Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and externally

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to visit job sites as needed.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
