Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the natural stone or cabinetry industry preferred
• Understanding of construction and installation processes , particularly in natural stone and cabinetry
• Knowledge of cost estimation principles and best practices
• Familiarity with construction documents, specifications, and blueprints
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, including On-Screen and Bluebeam
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates
• Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project managers
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documents
• Include labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs in estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to gather required information for estimates
• Ensure all stakeholders remain informed and aligned with project requirements and costs
• Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers against project requirements and budget constraints
• Recommend suitable bids based on cost, quality, and timeline
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive estimating database for material, labor, and equipment costs
• Use historical data and current market trends to support accurate and competitive estimates
• Compile all required documentation and prepare formal bid proposals for client submission
• Ensure all proposals remain clear, detailed, and aligned with client expectations
