About the role

An Estimator in Building Construction role focused on performing accurate quantity take-off based on drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs and cost estimates, and coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to identify scope gaps and cost risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity take-off based on drawings and specifications
• Prepare BOQ, unit rate analysis, and cost estimates
• Review architectural, structural and civil drawings
• Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential cost risks
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors

About you

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in building construction
• Strong ability to perform quantity take-off, prepare BOQs, conduct unit rate analysis, and prepare cost estimates
• Proficient in English (verbal and written) for preparing reports and proposals, with the ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with estimating/take-off software
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within tender deadlines
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Proficiency in Cubicost by Glodon, AutoCAD, or other estimating/take-off software
• Experience in medium to large-scale building construction projects
