Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Develop detailed proposals and presentations for clients, outlining project costs and timelines.
• Coordinate sales activities, including managing leads, following up with clients, and facilitating communication between sales and project teams.
• Maintain a database of past estimates and project costs for reference in future bids.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with clients to secure sales.
• Monitor project budgets and track expenses to ensure adherence to estimates.
• Provide support to the sales team by preparing sales reports and analyzing market trends.
• Attend client meetings and site visits to gather information and provide updates.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in cost estimation within the Furniture and Joinery industry.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing, joinery materials, production processes, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant estimation software.
• Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, quotations, tenders, and project proposals.
• Good understanding of material costs, labor costs, and market pricing.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
