What you’ll do

• Price overhead and underground distribution work from utility bid packages, drawings and specs
• Build labour, equipment and material estimates that win work and still make money
• Walk sites, flag risk early and work with operations to plan the job
• Track bid results and sharpen the numbers every time

What you’ll bring

• 1+ years estimating distribution or utility line construction
• A working knowledge of crew make-up, union labour rates and distribution units
• Comfort with estimating software and Excel that goes well beyond the basics
• The confidence to defend your numbers and the humility to fix them when they’re wrong
