Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project bids, analyzing costs, and collaborating closely with project managers to ensure smooth project handoffs. This role requires proficiency in estimating software such as OST and Quick Bid, along with a strong background in Painting estimation. Additional experience in drywall and/or concrete estimating is considered a valuable bonus. The Estimator will play a crucial role in driving project success through precise cost analysis and effective bid preparation.

Duties

• Conduct accurate takeoffs using OST and Quick Bid software to determine material quantities and project scope.
• Prepare comprehensive bids that reflect precise cost estimates aligned with project requirements.
• Perform detailed cost analysis to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to facilitate seamless project handoff, sharing relevant estimates and project details.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, pricing trends, and best practices in estimating.
• Review plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify potential challenges or cost-saving opportunities.

Experience

• Proven experience in Painting estimating is essential; familiarity with drywall and/or concrete estimating is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in OST and Quick Bid estimating software is required.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, labor costs, and industry pricing standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform accurate takeoffs and cost analysis under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
