Duties

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scopes using industry-standard tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers through effective negotiation to secure the best pricing and terms.
• Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground insights and verify project requirements.
• Manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring budgets and adjusting estimates as needed.
• Assist in contract review and support project management teams in contract negotiations and compliance.
• Utilize construction management software to streamline estimating processes and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements

• Drive to learn. There will be someone training and answering all questions along the way.
• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
• Ability to rad and intrepid blue prints.
• Ability to do material take offs from design constructions drawings.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam for digital markup and document management.
• Hands-on experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
