About the Role

Sigma Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Interior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong estimation skills, knowledge of interior materials, and the ability to prepare accurate quotations based on client requirements and project drawings.

Candidates with prior experience in the interior design, modular kitchen, wardrobe, or furniture industry will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for interior projects, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and other interior works.
• Study and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and interior design drawings.
• Calculate material quantities, measurements, and project costs based on drawings and specifications.
• Have client discussions to understand project requirements, budgets, preferences, and expectations.
• Explain material options, finishes, hardware, accessories, and product specifications to clients.
• Study and compare materials, brands, and specifications to recommend suitable options based on quality, durability, aesthetics, and budget.
• Coordinate with the design, sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate estimation.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations for materials, hardware, accessories, and other requirements.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), costing sheets, and client quotations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design requirements.
• Revise estimates and quotations based on design changes, material selections, and client feedback.
• Follow up with clients regarding quotations and clarify estimation-related queries.
• Maintain proper documentation of quotations, material specifications, and project costing.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and submitted within the required timelines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in interior estimation, furniture estimation, modular kitchens, wardrobes, or interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, hardware, accessories, and furniture components.
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and interior layouts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for costing, quantity calculations, and estimation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, and quotation software will be an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to explain technical material specifications in a clear and professional manner.
• Good attention to detail, time management, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and confident in client interactions. The candidate should be capable of translating design drawings into accurate estimates while helping clients understand material choices, specifications, and cost implications.

Interior industry experience will be a strong advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
