Estimator

We are seeking a mid-level Estimator with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and tender submissions for commercial and residential interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, interior design, and joinery drawings.
• Prepare BOQs and cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery works.
• Estimate costs for flooring, ceilings, partitions, wall cladding, painting, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, and custom furniture.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and scope of work to identify project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
• Calculate material, labor, fabrication, installation, and other project-related costs.
• Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing.
• Identify discrepancies, missing items, and potential risks in tender documents.
• Revise estimates based on drawing changes and client requirements.
• Maintain updated records of material prices, supplier rates, and project costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out and joinery estimation.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, specifications, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior design, and joinery drawings.
• Proven experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tender submissions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of UAE suppliers, subcontractors, and market prices is preferred.
• Good analytical, negotiation, communication, and time-management skills.

Note: Candidates must have relevant interior fit-out and joinery estimation experience. General construction estimation experience without fit-out experience will not be preferred.
