Estimator

Overview

We’re seeking an Estimator to assess project requirements and prepare clear, accurate cost estimates. You’ll work with relevant teams to understand the scope of work, evaluate costs and support informed project planning. Internal System Training will be given.

Duties

Your impact: Accurate estimates help project teams plan resources responsibly and make informed decisions.

• Prepare and issue quotations to the Estimating Manager or Business Development Manager (BDM) for checking, ensuring they are compliant with electrical specification and project requirements.
• Carry out quotation mark ups using Bluebeam based on drawings/layouts received.
• Carry out technical designs for compliant offerings.
• Coordinate with the Business Development Managers ensuring the scope of works is agreed and fully incorporated.
• Generate and compile costs to form a formal quotation, obtaining necessary sign-offs, checking received information for compliance, and advising BDMs of any areas of technical non-compliance.
• Ensure all quotation records are kept up to date and all cost/correspondence are filed in appropriate pre tender folders and in the correct format.
• Laise with Project Managers and the Technical team to produce compliant designs and quotations for existing systems e.g. Fit out work

Requirements

• 4 GCSEs at C/4 or above including English and Maths
• Articulate, assertive and a good communicator essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, numeracy skills essential.
• Excellent grammar and English skills essential.
• Good IT skills essential

Pay: £25,700.00-£32,000.00 per year
