Estimator /Electrical Engineer & Project Coordinator

A United State based Electrical Contractor company is looking for a smart and hard-working Electrical Estimator to handle the company estimation. The individual must be able to use architecture drawing to provide estimate to the client and must demonstrate experience within the new build, multifamily homes, high-rise apartment sector, delivering winning tenders.

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

1. Use drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders

2. Taking off quantities of drawings/specifications/bills of quantities

3. Interpret contract/tender requirements relating to costs for prelims, attendances, statuary requirements, site specific rules and scope

4. Produce complete electrical estimates using ‘Estimation’ Software

5. Ensure all bids submitted are correctly costed

6. Produce tender packages for subcontractors and review returned documents for inclusion in main bid

7. Involvement in finalisation of tenders including value engineering suggestions, alternative manufacturer proposals etc. and transfer of agreed values into an estimating system

8. Produce Schedule of Rates for each successful tender

9. Liaising with the Bid Manager and Sales Team to review tender documents and provide necessary clarification on proposed attendances/contract/terms etc. as required to limit unreasonable commercial risk

10. Ensure all roles and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with business procedures;

11. As required represent the Company in negotiations and meetings;

12. Attend internal project handover meetings and the bid team in developing the commercial strategy for the project

13. Maintain and developing meaningful relationships with our stakeholders

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (Specialized in Power)

• Understand NEC National Electrical Code USA

• Master is prefer in Electrical engineer

• Write, Read, Speak and Listening English skills has to be Excellent

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• Night shift
• Weekends (Saturday )

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission-pay
• Yearly bonus
