Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop precise cost estimates for metals fabrication projects.
• Collaborate with management to review project scope and provide pricing strategies that align with company goals and customer expectations.
• Incorporate supply chain management principles to source materials efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while controlling costs.
• Apply lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production planning, reduce waste, and improve overall project efficiency.
• Conduct demand planning and forecasting activities to anticipate material needs and streamline inventory control processes.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities, Job Planning, and inventory management systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metals fabrication estimating or a related manufacturing field.
• Familiarity with supply chain management concepts including demand planning, inventory control, and procurement strategies.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and production planning methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents accurately.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities to present clear estimates and collaborate effectively across departments.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
