GoRecruit is a Australian-based remote staffing partner placing Filipino professionals with businesses across the United States, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada. We're partnering with a California-based outdoor living and residential construction contractor operating since 2009, with more than 500 completed backyard transformations, top-tier decking manufacturer accreditation and industry award-winning projects to their name.

We're hiring an Estimator to work remotely from the Philippines, reporting directly to the client's Project Manager/Designer/Estimator and supporting their high-end outdoor living division.

You'll prepare cost estimates and material quantity takeoffs for custom decks, pergolas and outdoor living room projects, read architectural and construction drawings to establish scope and labour, and use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit to support project documentation. You'll also liaise directly with US suppliers on pricing, availability and orders, and provide genuine administrative support to the wider project team.

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and material quantity takeoffs for decks, pergolas and outdoor living projects
• Review architectural and construction drawings to identify scope, materials and labour requirements
• Support proposals and pricing for high-end residential outdoor builds
• Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Planswift/Buildertrend to review and annotate design documentation
• Liaise directly with US suppliers to source pricing, confirm availability, place orders and track deliveries
• Maintain organised project files, cost records and supplier correspondence
• Provide general administrative support to the Project Manager/Designer/Estimator and wider team

What you'll bring:

• 3+ years of estimating experience specifically within the US construction market
• At least 1 year of consecutive employment in a single previous role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Planswift/Buildertrend.
• Strong attention to detail across estimates, drawings and materials
• Excellent written and verbal English, confident liaising directly with US suppliers
• Comfortable with general administrative duties
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup

Compensation and benefits:
