The Role

You will turn customer drawings and RFQs into accurate, competitive quotes for machined parts and assemblies. You will work closely with our programmers, machinists and quality team to understand how parts get made, and you will help the team win work.

What You Will Do

• Review prints, models and specs, and build quotes for prototype and production quantities
• Estimate material, machine time, setups, tooling, outside processes and inspection
• Work with programmers and shop leads to check methods and cycle times
• Track quotes and follow up with customers and prime contractors
• Keep pricing records so our estimates improve over time

What We Are Looking For

• Experience estimating machined parts, or a machining background (programmer, setup machinist or similar) with strong math and an interest in estimating
• Ability to read prints and understand GD&T and tolerances
• Comfort with spreadsheets and quoting or ERP software
• Aerospace or defense experience, AS9100 familiarity and 5-axis knowledge are a plus
• Clear communication and good attention to detail

Pay and Benefits

Pay is commensurate with experience and skill set. We put 3% of pay into every employee's 401(k) whether or not they contribute, starting immediately with no waiting period. Health, dental and vision insurance. 80 hours of PTO, 48 hours of sick time and 10 paid holidays. Flexible hours.
