Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Estimator / Sales & Estimation Engineer with strong experience in structural steel estimation and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project quotations, material take-offs, cost estimates, and supporting business development and client negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for structural steel projects.
• Prepare accurate material take-offs (MTO), quantity calculations, and cost estimates.
• Prepare competitive quotations based on material, fabrication, painting, transportation, erection, and other project costs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare commercial proposals and submit tenders within deadlines.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project teams for technical and commercial requirements.
• Follow up with clients regarding quotations, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiations.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and support sales activities.
• Maintain records of quotations, tender status, and project opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural steel estimation, preferably with sales/business development experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, materials, and project costing.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs.
• Experience preparing quotations and commercial proposals.
• Good negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
• GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.

Pay: QAR5,500.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
