Estimator/Project Manager

About the role

Reporting to Senior Leadership, you will oversee multiple commercial fencing projects and lead several field crews across Perth, Western Australia. You'll spend much of your time visiting sites, supporting Team Leaders, meeting with clients and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. A dedicated Estimating team manages quotations, allowing you to focus on leading people and delivering successful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial fencing crews across active projects
• Coach, mentor and develop Team Leaders
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors
• Conduct regular site visits and provide leadership to field teams
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery
• Monitor project performance, productivity and profitability
• Recruit, develop and retain high-performing team members
• Drive continuous improvement across the business

About you

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Estimator or similar leadership role
• Commercial fencing experience is essential
• Strong understanding of commercial fencing projects, site operations and project delivery
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Experience with machine-based site work or excavators is highly regarded
• Trade background in carpentry, civil construction or related fields highly desirable
• Current Driver's Licence essential
• HC/MC Licence and additional tickets are advantageous
