Estimator / Project Manager – Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry.

EFY Sales, LLC is a WBE-certified supplier of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, custom casework, bath accessories, and specialty items for General Contractors, Developers, Landlords, and Property Managers. Based in NYC, EFY specializes in multi-family projects, particularly in the affordable housing sector.

Important Note:
EFY will only consider candidates with demonstrated experience in kitchen & bath cabinetry, architectural millwork, or case goods.
This is non-negotiable — candidates without this direct industry experience will not be considered.

Position Overview:
The Estimator/Project Manager (EPM) leads project estimating, ordering, budget control, and coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors. The EPM plays a key role in ensuring projects meet EFY’s standards for accuracy, delivery, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings and specifications to extract cabinet, fixture, and material requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Engage with clients to confirm project scope and deliverables.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to ensure profitability.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise and follow-ups.
• Specify materials, quantities, and associated costs for each project.
• Identify and resolve gaps in documentation through RFIs.
• Submit final bid packages after internal review.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site supervisors.
• Conduct field measurements and review or generate shop drawings.
• Provide value engineering options when appropriate.
• Liaise with vendors and manufacturers on orders, deliveries, and issue resolution.
• Oversee the transfer of samples to clients.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce cost variances.
• Collaborate with EFY leadership to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain awareness of building codes and AIA Division formats.

Required Industry Experience:

• Direct, hands-on experience in kitchen & bath cabinetry, architectural millwork, or case goods is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of cabinet/millwork systems, materials, shop drawings, production workflows, lead times, and installation coordination.
• Experience supporting multi-family and/or affordable housing projects is a strong plus.

Skills & Core Competencies (All Are Must-Haves):

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general command of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Bluebeam, 20/20 Design, or Mosaik (or similar estimating/design software).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Confident decision-maker with strong follow-through.
• Detail-oriented and resourceful with a solution-driven mindset.
• Professional, client-service approach and team-first attitude.
• Familiarity with NYC construction, multi-family, and affordable housing sectors.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in kitchen & bath cabinetry, architectural millwork, or case goods.
• Estimating and/or project management experience within those industries strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
