Estimator/Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and drive the success of commercial construction projects from initial bid through project completion. In this role, you will leverage your construction industry experience to accurately estimate costs, develop comprehensive project budgets, and manage projects efficiently. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, and utilizing estimating and construction management software will be essential to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects by reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam and Planswift to develop accurate project bids and proposals.
• Review construction drawings thoroughly to interpret technical requirements and estimate material quantities accurately using spreadsheets and other tools.
• Oversee the procurement process by estimating material requirements from blueprints and coordinating material deliveries to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to communicate project scope, timelines.

Experience

• Proven experience managing construction estimates for commercial projects with a strong understanding of the entire estimating process.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and estimating material requirements from blueprints.
• Solid background in construction industry practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
