Estimator/Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator/Project Manager with specialized experience in DFW airport projects and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. This role involves managing the full scope of project estimation and execution for passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) within an active airport environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical systems, security protocols, and operational constraints unique to airport settings. Duties

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive project estimates for PBB installations, focusing on MEP systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial proposal through planning, execution, and completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and airport authorities to coordinate project scope and resolve technical or operational challenges.
• Conduct detailed site assessments at active airport locations to evaluate existing conditions and identify potential risks or constraints related to security and operational procedures.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and procurement strategies tailored to the unique demands of airport projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, security protocols, and operational guidelines pertinent to active airport environments.
• Vet potential subcontractors and suppliers for quality assurance and cost-effectiveness while maintaining strict adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor project progress regularly, providing updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget targets.
• Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, change orders, progress reports, and other project records for transparency and future reference.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Project Manager with a focus on airport infrastructure projects, specifically within the DFW area preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems related to passenger boarding bridges (PBBs), including installation, maintenance, and integration within complex environments.
• Strong understanding of security requirements and operational constraints in active airport settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop detailed estimates with a high degree of accuracy for large-scale technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders including clients, engineers, contractors, and airport personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in project management or estimating are advantageous.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,300.00 per year
