Estimator/Project Manager

AF Group Ltd. is growing, and we are looking for a motivated and experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a construction professional who is confident, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of projects from initial estimating through to successful completion.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering commercial, institutional, and high-end residential projects, working closely with our leadership team, clients, consultants, and trade partners.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating and/or project management
• Strong ability to prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and competitive tender submissions
• Experience managing construction projects from planning through completion
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedules, and budgets
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation
• Knowledge of procurement, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and cost control
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities
• Established relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals are considered an asset
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude with a desire for professional growth

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to establish accurate pricing
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams
• Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and quality standards
• Manage change orders, project documentation, and client communications
• Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
