Estimator/Project Manager

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing electrical contracting team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with electrical construction experience who is ready to grow their career in estimating, project management, and commercial electrical construction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Estimating

• Review electrical plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Assist with material and labor takeoffs
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and bid packages
• Obtain and compare material and subcontractor pricing
• Assist with change order pricing and documentation
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, general contractors, and customers
• Maintain accurate estimating and project records

Project Management

• Assist with managing electrical construction projects from start to completion
• Review project plans, schedules, and scopes of work
• Coordinate materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors
• Track project progress, costs, and schedules
• Assist with purchase orders and material procurement
• Prepare and track change orders
• Communicate with field personnel, customers, vendors, and general contractors
• Attend project meetings as needed
• Help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Assist with closeout documentation and final project billing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in commercial electrical construction preferred
• Electrical estimating or project coordination experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand electrical plans and blueprints
• Strong understanding of electrical construction practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• Construction software experience is a plus
• Electrical field experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
