Estimator/Project Manager

Overview

This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with at least 5 years of concrete estimating and/or project management experience who is looking to continue to develop under the guidance of the Dolan Concrete management team, which has a combined experience of over 100 years in the industry. As an Estimator/Project Manager, you will be involved in projects from the budgeting phase through the construction phase.

Duties

• Quantity Takeoff (using On-Screen Takeoff)
• Completing Estimates
• Preparing Bid Proposals
• Procurement of Submittals
• Overseeing Shop Drawing preparation
• Writing of subcontracts
• Procuring materials and equipment required for your projects
• Review of contracts for scope and price compliance
• Review changes to the contract documents throughout the project
• Maintain Procore files throughout the life of your projects
• Coordination with the Operations staff to keep projects running smoothly and on budget
• Client relationship management

• 8-hour shift; working hours flexible

·       Participation in Dolan Concrete Construction Employee Stock Ownership Plan after one year of service (entry dates of January 1 and July 1) with a six-year vesting schedule. Contributions to this plan are contingent on the profitability of the company.

·       Participation in Dolan Concrete Construction Profit Sharing Plan after one year of service (entry dates January 1 and July 1) with 100% vesting upon entry. Contributions to this plan are contingent on the profitability of the company.
