ETD & Commodities Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Capital Markets professional with strong hands-on experience in Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) and Commodities.

The successful candidate will be involved across the derivatives trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement, while working closely with internal stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Operations, and other functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the end-to-end trade lifecycle from execution to settlement.
• Work with Rates, Commodities, FX & Equities products.
• Perform trade entry, validation, reconciliation, margin, clearing, and settlement activities.
• Analyse trade breaks and exceptions and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Operations, and other business teams.
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of derivative transactions.
• Investigate operational issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Support BAU activities and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, IT, or a related field.
• 2–8 years of relevant Capital Markets / Derivatives experience.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience handling Commodities as part of Derivatives.
• Strong understanding of Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD).

• Understanding of OTC products is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced Capital Markets environment.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
