What they need
Security testing: Ability to test web applications, APIs and networks, manually verify vulnerabilities and recommend fixes.
Technical foundations: Networking, Linux, Windows and basic Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting.
Tools: Practical proficiency in Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark and vulnerability scanners.
Reporting: Prepare clear reports with evidence, severity, business impact and remediation guidance; retest after fixes.
Client handling: Explain findings clearly and work with developers and IT teams.
Professional conduct: Maintain confidentiality and test only with written authorisation within agreed scope.
Preferred—not compulsory
Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, PNPT, CPTS or CEH.
Technical growth-marketing skills: API integrations, permitted public-data extraction, competitor research and simple lead-generation web tools.
Selection process
Authorised practical lab assessment.
Written vulnerability report.
Technical interview and review of anonymised previous work.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per hour
