ETL Data Engineer Flex PLM

Responsibilities

• Analyze source and target systems to define migration scope, strategy, and timelines.
• Design and implement ETL Extract, Transform, Load processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Perform data cleansing, normalization, and validation to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct test migrations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Document migration processes, mappings, and validation reports for audit and knowledge transfer.
• Provide post migration support, including monitoring, issue resolution, and user assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of databases SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc. and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages Python, Shell, PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP and their migration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in large-scale data migration projects is highly desirable.
