ETL Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines to support business intelligence and reporting requirements. This role requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, data integration, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance ETL workflows and data integration processes.
• Build, test, and optimize data pipelines to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify issues, recommend technical fixes, and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using T-SQL.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flows.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with established standards and procedures.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and functional system analysis using Microsoft Visual Studio (SSIS), MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and MS SQL Server / T-SQL.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in data engineering, software development, testing, and optimization of data pipelines.
• Strong experience analyzing complex datasets and identifying technical solutions through detailed data analysis.
• Solid understanding of database design, data warehousing concepts, and ETL best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for SQL Server.
