Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer specialized in ETL, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust data pipelines that empower our teams to make data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and testing scalable ETL processes.
• Extracting data from a variety of sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and streaming services.
• Transforming raw datasets into structured, analytics-ready formats.
• Loading processed data into our target data platforms, such as data warehouses or cloud databases.
• Implementing robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure reliability and traceability of ETL workflows.
• Continuously optimizing ETL pipelines for performance, leveraging techniques such as query optimization, indexing, and parallel processing.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of insights.

Requirements:

• Intermediate or higher level of English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-driven environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and/or data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL design and implementation.
• Quick learner with a proactive mindset, capable of adapting to new technologies and evolving business needs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Experience and proficiency in the following areas is highly valued:

Programming Languages :

• Advanced T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database)
• Python
• C# (preferred)
• ETL Tools:
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – advanced level
• Data Visualization & Reporting:
• Power BI (strong plus)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (plus)
• Cloud Data Services:
• Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks (nice to have)
