ETL Developer (Ms Fabric)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer specialising in Microsoft Fabric to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH). This is a contract position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies. This role is crucial to our data infrastructure and will directly support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives, ensuring seamless data flow across our enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL pipelines and data workflows using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory and other Fabric components
• Extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into data warehouses and data lakes with accuracy and efficiency
• Optimise ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability to handle large volumes of data
• Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data pipelines, and technical specifications
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within existing ETL solutions and data integration processes
• Implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Stay current with Microsoft Fabric updates and best practices, incorporating new features and improvements into existing solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an ETL Developer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based data integration platforms
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
• Solid understanding of data integration patterns and best practices
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, or similar
• Experience with Azure services and cloud-based data platforms is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines is preferred
