ETL Developer (Programmer/Analyst)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes, supporting data integration initiatives, performing data analysis, and ensuring data quality and accuracy. This role requires strong SQL expertise, analytical skills, and experience working with reporting and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 3 years of experience as an ETL Developer, with hands-on experience in data preparation, data analysis, and reporting.

• Experience in technical troubleshooting and providing technical support for ETL processes.

• At least 3 years of experience with T-SQL.

• Experience creating reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards using tools such as:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Power BI
  • Other similar reporting and visualization tools

• Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and best practices.

• In-depth knowledge of data management, including security, permissions, backup, recovery, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with cloud services is an advantage.

• Exposure to data migration projects is a plus.

• Knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong multitasking, organizational, and project management skills.

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes and workflows.
• Develop and support integration tools, utilities, and data pipelines.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Test databases and resolve data-related issues.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for ETL solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical and project documentation.
• Monitor ETL jobs and data processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Support data migration and system integration initiatives as needed.
