Consultant – ETL Tester

Experience: 4–8 Years
Location: Chennai, India
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days WFO / 2 Days WFH
Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in ETL/ELT testing, data validation, automation, and report testing, particularly with Power BI.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, preferably within dbt and Snowflake ecosystems.

ETL Testing

• Strong experience in ETL/ELT testing, data validation, and data reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with ETL Test Automation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and source-to-target testing.
• Mandatory hands-on automation experience using Python / PySpark / Snowpark frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Snowflake.
• Good knowledge of:
• Data Warehousing
• Data Integration
• Data Validation
• Source-to-target validation
• Data reconciliation
• Experience working with dbt is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing methodologies and intelligent validation approaches is a nice-to-have.

Report Testing – Power BI

• Strong experience in Power BI report testing.
• Validate:
• Report data
• Report functionality
• Filters
• Drilldowns
• Calculations
• Visuals
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and source-to-report validation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including:
• Facts
• Dimensions
• Data relationships
• Data validation
