Etl Tester

We are looking for an experienced ETL Testing / Database Testing professional with strong hands-on expertise in ETL testing, advanced SQL query writing, data validation, and data warehouse testing. The candidate should have experience in validating complex data transformations, performing source-to-target reconciliation, and identifying data quality issues across large-scale enterprise data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end ETL testing, database testing, and data warehouse validation.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data verification and reconciliation.
• Perform source-to-target validation based on mapping documents and transformation rules.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, consistency, record counts, duplicates, null values, and referential integrity.
• Test initial and incremental data loads, including insert, update, and delete scenarios.
• Validate fact and dimension tables, data models, and data warehouse schemas.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects in coordination with development and business teams.
• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
• Perform data migration testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliable delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 512 years of experience in ETL testing, database testing, or data warehouse testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and complex query writing.
• Expertise in source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, and transformation testing.
• Good understanding of data warehouse concepts, fact and dimension tables, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM DataStage, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data quality testing, initial/incremental loads, and defect management.
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other enterprise data environments is preferred.
