ETP & WTP Operator (Effluent Treatment Plant & Water Treatment Plant Operator)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor ETP and WTP equipment, including pumps, motors, filters, softeners, RO systems, and dosing units.
• Conduct routine testing of water and effluent parameters such as pH, TDS, turbidity, hardness, COD, and BOD.
• Ensure treated water and discharged effluent meet statutory and environmental standards.
• Maintain daily operating logs, records, and reports.
• Monitor chemical consumption and prepare chemical dosing solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for corrective actions.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of treatment chemicals.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in ETP/WTP areas.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Water/Wastewater Treatment Operations is preferred.

Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in operating ETP, WTP, RO Plant, STP, or related utility systems.
