Job Summary

We are a sunflower refined oil manufacturing company looking for an experienced and responsible ETP Operator to manage and operate our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining ETP systems, preferably in a food, edible oil, or manufacturing industry. Strong practical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) efficiently and safely.
• Monitor wastewater treatment processes and ensure treated water meets required standards.
• Check and maintain ETP parameters such as pH, COD, BOD, TSS, flow, dissolved oxygen and sludge levels.
• Handle dosing of chemicals and ensure proper chemical consumption.
• Conduct routine checks of pumps, motors, blowers, tanks, pipelines and other ETP equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and take corrective action when required.
• Maintain daily ETP operating records, log sheets and chemical consumption reports.
• Manage sludge handling and disposal as per company procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth ETP operations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness around the ETP area.
• Follow all applicable environmental, safety and company guidelines.
• Support water conservation and wastewater management initiatives within the plant.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an ETP Operator.
• Strong practical knowledge of water and effluent treatment systems.
• Experience operating ETP equipment such as pumps, blowers, dosing systems, clarifiers, aeration tanks and filter systems.
• Good understanding of biological and chemical wastewater treatment processes.
• Ability to monitor and maintain water-quality parameters.
• Experience in a food processing, edible oil, manufacturing or similar industrial plant will be preferred.
• Ability to independently handle routine ETP operations and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
