European Network Engineer

We are looking for a European Network Engineer to join our Team.

About the Role

Join our European IT team and help deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing network services across multiple countries. As a European Network Engineer, you will play a key role in the operation, support, and continuous improvement of our enterprise network landscape, including WAN, LAN, VPN, firewall, cloud networking, and Cisco ISE environments.

This is a hands-on engineering position where you'll work closely with infrastructure, security, SRE, and business teams to resolve complex networking challenges, drive operational excellence, and support strategic technology initiatives across Europe.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and enhance enterprise WAN, LAN, and VPN environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and service issues.
• Support and administer network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and Cisco ISE.
• Implement network changes and contribute to infrastructure and business projects.
• Monitor network performance and drive continuous service improvements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, SRE, and business teams across Europe.
• Support cloud networking services and connectivity solutions.
• Work with external vendors and service providers in a multi-vendor environment.
• Ensure network services are delivered securely, reliably, and in line with business requirements.

What We Require From You

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering or Network Operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, VPN technologies, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience supporting enterprise WAN/LAN environments.
• Proven experience in incident, problem, and change management.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security technologies.
• Experience with Cisco ISE or other Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with AWS networking services, including VPC, Route53, and Load Balancers.
• Familiarity with VoIP and Unified Communications solutions.
• Experience working in multi-country or multi-vendor environments.
• ITIL knowledge or experience in IT service management environments.
