The mission

We are hiring a hands-on engineer for EV/HEV/PHEV and high-voltage diagnosis and repair,

with direct experience across Chinese vehicle platforms.

What You Will Own

• Apply HV isolation, lockout/tagout and prove-dead testing before work.
• Diagnose HV batteries, BMS, cells, isolation, HVIL, contactors and pre-charge.
• Diagnose inverters, motors, OBC, DC-DC, PDU, charging and thermal systems.
• Use OEM data/tools for Chinese vehicles and perform authorised updates and calibrations.
• Document diagnosis, estimate, repair and final validation in the Job Card.
• Train the team in EV awareness and improve first-time-fix quality.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Automotive, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.

• At least 5 years’ experience, including 3 years with EV/HEV/PHEV.

• HV Level 3/4 or equivalent OEM certification.

• Proven experience with Chinese brands such as BYD, Geely/Zeekr, Changan/Deepal, GAC/Aion,

  MG or equivalent.

• Strong OEM-tool, wiring-diagram, CAN, multimeter, oscilloscope and insulation-test capability.

• Strong technical English; Arabic and a UAE driving licence are advantages.

Non-Negotiable Controls

No HV work without competence, authorisation, isolation and prove-dead testing. No defeat of

battery-protection or safety systems.

Location- United Arab Emirates, with travel between CARPI branches as required

Reports To- Operations Manager
