EV Infrastructure Site Assessment Engineer

Seeking an Electrical Site Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to lead the inspection, testing, documentation, and commissioning support for Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) installations. This role ensures all electrical infrastructure meets project specifications, regulatory codes, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Code Review: Audit electrical drawings and designs to ensure strict compliance with AC Mobility standards and national/local electrical codes.

• Equipment Inspection: Conduct on-site inspections of installed EV charging units in alignment with manufacturer installation manuals.

• Testing & Commissioning: Execute testing and commissioning for:

  • Main Distribution Panels (MDP), power supply lines, and cable routing to EV charger tapping points.
  • Distribution transformers.
  • Grounding and earthing systems.

• Documentation & Quality Control: Prepare comprehensive Commissioning Reports, witness performance testing, and sign off on final project acceptance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in building electrical installations (preferably as a Site Project Engineer or Electrical Site Engineer).

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering (REE license not required).

• Certifications:

  • Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
  • Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training certification.
