Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Evening & Weekend Waitstaff to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this dynamic role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service during evening and weekend shifts. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, Clover.
• Provide expert recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and cocktail options to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage receipts using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations; assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure an outstanding guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and beer; cocktail experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours during evenings and weekends; night club or nightlife experience is beneficial
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent guest relations abilities
• Experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is desirable but not required

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
