Responsibilities

• Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned and maintained
• Deep cleaning of kitchen, walk-in fridge/freezer, all appliances and on a cleaning schedule
• Prepare dinner items to Hilton Brand standards while maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality
• Prepare and monitor Banquet Event Orders (BEO's)
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks in compliance with food safety management standards
• Support beverage service, including operating coffee machines or barista equipment, and offering wine or drink recommendations when appropriate
• Food Ordering / Inventory
• Practicing FIFO (first in/first out)

Requirements

• Previous experience in Hilton experience is highly preferred
• ServSafe Certified in Food Handler and CPR procedures
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with in-person interaction experience
• Capable of manual handling tasks such as weight lifting and moving trays or supplies safely
• Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and culinary practices in the food industry or as a dietary aide is advantageous, food allergies etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Able to work on holidays and weather related events

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
