Evening Janitor

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Handle various chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation purposes.
• Conduct some lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or trash disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Reporting issues to management.

Requirements

• Must have own transportation.
• Janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all chemical handling safety procedures.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently during evening hours.
• Good communication and customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.60 per hour
