St. Malachy School is made up of approx 180 students in grades PK-8.

St. Malachy is located in Creston, Iowa

Responsibilities:

• Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
• Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
• Ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and presentable for employees and visitors
• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
• Handle maintenance or repair needs if possible
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Experience:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning equipment
• Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing and stripping
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
