Evening Line Cook

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Evening Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times. This role offers an opportunity to work during evening hours, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

• Operate various kitchen equipment efficiently and safely to prepare menu items.
• Manage food safety protocols, including proper sanitizing procedures and maintaining cleanliness in all work areas.
• Grill items to meet quality standards and presentation requirements.
• Assist in food production, ensuring timely preparation of dishes for service.
• Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality of dishes served.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth kitchen operation during evening shifts.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers.
• Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitizing procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Flexibility to work evening hours, including weekends if required.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
