We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Evening Shift Cook to join our culinary team at Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher in Tampa, FL. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional nutritional care and culinary experiences to our residents.

About the Role:

As an Evening Shift Cook on our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents during the evening shift. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that our residents are provided with a varied and appealing menu, while also maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook evening meals for our residents, including soups, entrees, and desserts
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure a high-quality dining experience
• Work collaboratively with our dietary team to plan and prepare meals that meet our residents' nutritional needs and dietary restrictions
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient use of resources

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a cook in a healthcare or long-term care setting (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Food handlers card (or willingness to obtain)
