Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, processing payments, and delivering food promptly.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to sanitation standards for food safety management.
• Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash handling procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and other food preparation tools, following proper safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts.
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing register operations.
• Experience working in retail or café environments is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
