Evening Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert speech and language therapy services to the pediatric population during after-school hours. You get to determine the hours you want to work!

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs, utilizing evidence-based practices
• Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress and facilitate effective communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Educate families and caregivers about speech-language disorders, treatment goals, and home exercises to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay current with advances in physiology, anatomy related to speech production, medical terminology, and best practices in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.

Experience

• Pediatrics
• Neuro-affirming approaches
• Knowledge and training in Gestalt Language Processing is preferred

Pay: $60.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 7.0 per week
