Event Assistant

Enjoy working with people and being part of different events around Philadelphia? We’re looking for an Events Assistant to join our team and help with events taking place at different venues across the city.

You may work at business events, community gatherings, private functions, seasonal events and other local activities. Some days may involve getting a venue ready, while other days may focus more on helping guests, checking supplies or supporting the team during an event.

Your Day-to-Day

Before the Event
Help get supplies, materials and other event items ready before the team arrives at the venue.

Setting Up
Assist with arranging tables, chairs, signs, materials and other basic setup as needed.

During the Event
Help with guest check-in, directions, supplies and general questions while the event is taking place.

Around Philadelphia
Work at different venues across the city depending on the event schedule. Each location and event may have different requirements.

Working With the Team
Stay in contact with the event team, help with tasks as they come up and make sure important details aren’t overlooked.

After the Event
Help gather materials, pack supplies and leave the event area organised when the day is finished.

Able to stay on your feet for extended periods
Flexible with different event schedules
Willing to help wherever needed

Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service or a similar environment is helpful, but not required.

Some early morning, evening and weekend availability may be required depending on the event schedule.
