What they need
Events can change pace in minutes, so the best assistants are organised, approachable and ready to adapt. If that sounds like you, our Liverpool team offers the opportunity to build practical experience across live client campaigns.
We’re hiring an entry-level Event Assistant to support promotional events, brand activations and customer campaigns. You’ll receive full training on each client, help prepare the event and make sure customers receive a professional, engaging experience.
This is a customer-facing campaign role rather than a desk-based event-planning or hospitality position.
Your Event Responsibilities
- Attend daily briefings and review campaign objectives
- Learn each client’s brand, products and current promotion
- Prepare branded displays and customer information
- Help organise the event space before activity begins
- Welcome customers and introduce the campaign
- Explain relevant products, services and offers
- Answer questions and support customer registrations
- Assist with interactive activities and demonstrations
- Monitor event materials and campaign records
- Support event breakdown and performance reviews
Pay, Training and Benefits
- Guaranteed base pay plus performance-based bonuses
- A position that is not commission-only
- Full entry-level event and campaign training
- Regular coaching and practical feedback
- Experience across different clients and event formats
- Development in customer engagement and event delivery
- Recognition for dependable work and strong performance
- Progression towards senior event or team leadership roles
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, friendly and comfortable speaking with people
- Positive and focused in busy environments
- Organised and attentive to detail
- Professional when representing clients
- Reliable and ready to support the wider team
- Able to adapt when campaign priorities change
- Open to coaching and constructive feedback
