Event Associate

CBI Midwest is seeking an Event Associate to represent nonprofit organizations and support community outreach efforts throughout the Indianapolis area. This Event Associate role is an in-person, public-facing role for someone who enjoys interacting with others, communicating information, and helping create engaging experiences at local events.

As an Event Associate, you will work alongside a team to introduce members of the community to the nonprofit organizations we represent, share information about their work and initiatives, and encourage community involvement.

Event Associate Responsibilities:

• Represent nonprofit organizations at community events and public locations.
• Engage with members of the public and share information about nonprofit organizations.
• Explain nonprofit programs, initiatives, and opportunities to get involved.
• Answer questions and provide accurate information.
• Encourage community members to learn more and support participating organizations.
• Create a welcoming and professional experience.
• Work with a team to support daily events and outreach activities.
• Stay informed about the organizations and initiatives being represented.

Event Associate Qualifications:

• Interest in events, community outreach, nonprofit organizations, or public engagement.
• Ability to communicate information in a clear, engaging, and approachable manner.
• Professional and dependable with a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in customer service, events, outreach or similar roles is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable engaging with diverse members of the community.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
