Event Attendant

We are seeking an Event Attendant to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and managing important events from set up through completion from the venue perspective. We pride ourselves on delivering the best customer service, while maintaining standard operating procedures to take care of the venue and it’s guests. This is a great position for anyone looking to join the event industry to see how each vendor contributes to the success of an event!!

General Responsibilities and Information:

· Most shifts are 10.5 hours long but do not exceed 12 hours // Or can be split in half with another person for (2) 5 -6 hour shifts

· Most shifts are weekend evenings with occasional Thursdays

· Review the file for the event to ensure layout is correct, if the salon is being used and verify bar open and closing times

· Turn on all equipment according to TGC standards

· Check restroom supplies in all four restrooms and ensure cleanliness and stock throughout the event

· Allow vendors to enter the building at their pre-determined set up time

· Emphasize the rules of Tampa Garden Club to each vendor accordingly

· Greet the Point of Contact to go over final details and expectations

· Greet and mark times of security officers

· During the event be present to assist vendors and guests

· Properly note the file with appropriate information regarding the event

· Other duties as deemed necessary to ensure the event is a success

Qualifications:

· Strong project managing skills

· Deadline and detail-oriented

· Ability to work well with others

Requirements:

· HS Diploma or Equivalent education

· 1-3 years in related field or prior Customer Service experience
